 We are grateful for funding provided by The EJLB FOUNDATION for grants over two years, 2002-2003 for assistance in the operation of the Race Rocks program.
The EJLB Foundation has two main areas of interest:
- Medical and scientific research in all areas of neuroscience that pertain directly or indirectly to schizophrenia and mental illness.
- Protection of the environment principally through
(i) the acquisition and preservation, throughout Canada, of natural areas of ecological significance or of importance to the urban landscape and
(ii) environmental scientific research performed in Canadian universities or affiliated research centres. The Foundation also supports, on a case-by-case basis, a variety of other environmental endeavours.

LA FONDATION EJLB a deux principaux centres d'intérêt :
- La recherche médicale et scientifique dans tous les domaines de la neuroscience qui se rattachent directement ou indirectement à la schizophrénie et aux maladies mentales.
- La protection de l'environnement axée principalement sur
(i) l'acquisition et la préservation, à travers le Canada, de sites naturels de valeur écologique exceptionnelle ou d'importance au paysage urbain, et
(ii) la recherche scientifique environnementale effectuée dans des universités canadiennes ou dans des centres de recherche affiliés. La Fondation appuie également, selon leur mérite respectif, une gamme d'initiatives environnementales.
