	The September 2000 MPA maps as submitted in the Proposal to Designate the Area as a Marine Protected Area.
	TOPOGRAPHIC MAP: Pedder Bay, Rocky Point and Race Rocks. The diagonal line on this map represents the path for the radio beam with the video and data signal for racerocks.com..The terminus on the top side of the map is a location 30 meters behind the observatory, at Pearson College.

	BATHYMETRIC CHART This links to the hydrographic projections made by the Canadian Hydrographic Service in 1999. The blue color represents 100 meters in depth. The Ecological Reserve is restricted to the red-pink section . The black dots represent the islands of Race Rocks.
	LOCATION OF RACE ROCKS Race Rocks is located in the eastern entrance of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, midway between the cities of Victoria on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and Port Angeles on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, USA
	R.R.Ecological Reserve Boundaries on chart
	THE 1980 Chart Version of the Eco. Reserve at Race Rocks Note: The dark red arrow points to the ecological reserve boundary at the 36.6 metres (20 fathom) contour, as it was designated in 1980 by The Ecological Reserves Branch of The Department of Lands, Parks and Housing. It enclosed the reserve with an area of 220 hectares. The central island of Great Race Rock was not included in the ecological reserve but has since been added to the previous designated area. The Race Rocks Light House is now operated as an aids to navigation by DFO.
