In the 1960's and early 1970's, The former lightkeeper, Trevor Anderson documented on 8mm film, the demolition of several of the old historic features of the Race Rocks light station. The Canadian Coast guard decided that demolition was necessary for purposes of "modernization". In this file we have converted those 8mm films to Quicktime video to show these structures and their demise.
