In May, 2004, Jeff Weaver of CBC Radio Victoria, accompanied Laura Verhegge and her Environmental Systems Class to Race Rocks . He collected some audio clips which were used a few weeks later on the Live "On the Island" Radio Broadcast from Race Rocks. The students were involved in doing abiotic measurements in the intertidal zone .

IN MEMMORIAM

We deeply regret that David Grierson died suddenly on November 20, 2004. We will all miss his wake up voice in the early morning on the program "On The Island"
