Scarlet and Slash in 2004 We think she may be the same female that showed up with Slash on the lawn in 2004 see link ---->
Scarlet was photographed in May 2008. We thought she may be entangled. This file profiles her.
These three individuals were on the middle island on Jan 30, 2009. Scarlet is on the right.

Scarlet
PB image: Scarlet and her pup February 4, 2009. This pup disappeared shortly after, probably because of exposure on the rock to storm waves. Pam Birley has taken a few images of Scarlet on the remote camera that are included on her June 2009 gallery PB. e-mail of Jan 28, 2010: "Scarlet is back today....keeping her distance from the others on Middle Rock. I am convinced she is pregnant. I was just checking back in my photos.  A pup was born on Middle Rock, 2nd February last year and was seen feeding on 3rd Feb. I would not be at all surprised to see a another pup in the next couple of days or so."
Ryan, Jan 31, 2010: "I took the boat around Middle Rocks  while bringing the students back today and heard a pup squawking.  You can't see it from Cam 5, but it was laying alongside Slash earlier today, looks as though it may have been born a day or two ago."
Ryan has some good photos of the different elephant seals on his Flickr site linked from this page
