 In early July, 2001, this video was taken from the north window of the Marine Science centre at Race Rocks. It runs for about four minutes and shows the first day in the life of a sea gull chick. The parents spend some time cleaning the nest, and keeping on it to keep the chick warm and to keep the second egg incubating.
