 Ever since Pearson College took over the management of the Ecological Reserve/Marine Protected Area, it has been our goal to ensure that our human presence there is having a minimum ecological impact. Our recommendation for changing the plumbing in the two residences was considered by B.C, Parks and eventually the funding was made possible to achieve this goal. After removal of the existing plumbing systems, new Envirolet composting toilets are now operational.
