Description: This plant is erect, 4-12 cm. tall, arising from an encrusting layer attached securely to the substrate. It is reddish-pink in colour. The erect portion is an irregular dichotomously branched system of jointed segments.
Habitat: On rocks in the lower intertidal and subtidal zones.
Pacific Coast Distribution: British Columbia to California.
